What you will do

• Collect and process annuity and income settlement claims.
• Determine benefits and prepare appropriate documents or supplementary contracts.
• Adjudicate claims from the first notice of death through to final payment.
• Provide information and guidance to beneficiaries, policyholders, and agents.
• Manage a designated caseload with a high level of accountability for production.
• Collaborate with the Annuity/Income Settlement Team to ensure customer and advisor satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET.
• 1+ year of experience in claims processing, annuity products, operations, or case management.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• 1+ year of MS Office computer experience.
• Must be located in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• Associate or Bachelor's degree.
• Previous annuity claim examination experience.
• Familiarity with Polaris, WMA, Vantage, Onbase, LifeCad, and/or Orion.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
