What you will do

• Lead pricing strategies for Group and Supplemental Benefits products, including group life, disability, and voluntary benefits.
• Own pricing assumptions, methodologies, and governance to align with risk and profitability objectives.
• Partner with Product, Underwriting, Finance, and Claims teams to support new product development and rate actions.
• Oversee the development, enhancement, and governance of actuarial pricing models.
• Lead actuarial efforts for rate filings and ensure strict regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and develop actuarial talent to foster a high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation required.
• 6+ years of actuarial experience with significant focus on Group and/or Supplemental Benefits pricing.
• Deep understanding of pricing frameworks, risk management, and insurance product design.
• Proven experience with regulatory environments and rate filing processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with actuarial modeling tools such as MG-ALFA.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or similar data analysis tools.
• Experience within educator-focused or affinity group insurance markets.
