What you will do
- Develop tools and internal capabilities to measure the performance of value-based and shared-savings arrangements.
- Create cost and revenue forecasting models using Medicaid reimbursement and healthcare claims data.
- Analyze profitability based on duration, acuity, and resource allocation to inform senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Economics and Business Development teams to evaluate new opportunities and report risk score and utilization trends.
- Monitor performance against forecasts and analyze drivers of variances in revenue, cost, and membership.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- ASA or FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries.
- Bachelorβs degree and minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience in healthcare, managed care, or consulting.
- Proficiency in SQL and/or SAS.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
Nice to have
- Medicaid managed care rate development or rate advocacy experience.
- Experience with value-based reimbursement strategies and affordability initiatives.
- Prior project management experience.
