What you will do

• Create effective industrial designs using hirify.global 3D MachineBuilder and a library of modular components.
• Lead design review sessions with clients to provide technical feedback and design insights.
• Review user designs for structural integrity, performance, efficiency, and overall quality.
• Create custom parts and drawings using standard CAD software.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to improve the hirify.global parts library and CAD product.
• Test and troubleshoot designs assembled in-house prior to shipment.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical drafting or design (machine frames, safety enclosures, industrial furniture).
• DEP in Mechanical Drafting / Industrial Drafting or an equivalent qualification.
• Bilingualism in French and English (verbal and written) is required.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Montreal, Canada.
• Strong communication skills with a passion for daily client interactions.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
