What you will do

• Install and commission industrial equipment used in sawmills and pulp and paper mills.
• Conduct inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on field-installed machinery.
• Provide technical support and operational training to customers.
• Prepare technical and administrative reports, including service records and time sheets.
• Maintain safety standards according to company, customer, and governmental regulations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience assembling and troubleshooting industrial machinery in an industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in both French and English (verbal and written).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel by air across all regions of Canada.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• Vocational degree in industrial mechanics or electro-mechanics.
• Experience with measurement and diagnostic tools for industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of the sawmill or pulp mill industries, specifically primary wood processing equipment.
• Familiarity with disc chippers, chipper canters, and ring debarkers.
