Onsite AV Service Technician

Salary: 32 - 38.50 CAD per hour

What you will do

• Provide daily onsite technical support and maintain client relationships at assigned locations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair of faulty AV systems and equipment.
• Provide technical assistance for end-user meetings, conferences, and events.
• Manage and maintain an inventory tracking mechanism and update ticketing systems.
• Liaison with manufacturers and vendors to facilitate equipment repairs (RMAs).
• Produce detailed summary reports to demonstrate service value to the client.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Toronto, ON, Canada
• 1+ years of experience with audio-visual related systems.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cramped spaces, on ladders, or scaffolding.
• Successful completion of a background screen and driving records check.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS, Biamp, or Crestron certifications.
• Networking or IT related certifications.
• Experience troubleshooting video walls, control systems, and DSP.
• Experience with unified communications and collaboration platforms.
• Postsecondary degree or technical school certification.
