What you will do

• Develop design change packages for operating nuclear plant facilities to ensure a sustainable energy future.
• Create detailed electrical deliverables including one-line/three-line diagrams, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform complex engineering calculations such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and arc flash analysis using ETAP or SKM.
• Draft electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction.
• Manage project budgets, man-hour schedules, and coordinate with clients during on-site investigations and construction.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams as a Technical Specialist or Project Lead.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Must satisfy all US citizenship requirements per 10 CFR 810.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle record searches.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Kansas or other relevant states.
• Direct experience in Nuclear Power Plant facility design.
• Proven track record as a Project Lead or technical SME in nuclear plant design.
• Experience in infrastructure power distribution for large industrial or generating plants.
