Salary: $90,000–$140,000

What you will do
- Lead electrical system designs for commercial, healthcare, education, and public-sector projects from conceptual design to closeout.
- Develop comprehensive electrical engineering drawings, specifications, load calculations, and system documentation.
- Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and building system requirements.
- Manage code review documentation and approvals in compliance with AHJ, NEC, and NFPA standards.
- Conduct site investigations and construction administration visits to provide technical guidance and field reports.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers, including quality-control reviews of design documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering design and dedicated project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), California Electrical Code (CEC), and AZ Codes.
- Must be based in or familiar with the Phoenix Valley region, AZ.
Nice to have
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
- Experience with electrical engineering analysis software such as SKM or ETAP.
- Low voltage and technology design experience.
- Experience with LEED or CHPS documentation and sustainable design practices.
