TL;DR

Senior Electrical Engineer (Industrial): Designing and managing electrical systems for industrial and power projects with an accent on power distribution, generation, and process electrical design. Focus on implementing technical solutions using SKM/ETAP, managing multiple projects, and integrating Balance of Plant systems.

Location: Nashville or Knoxville, TN. Relocation assistance available.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage multiple electrical engineering projects as a Project Manager.
  • Design electrical systems for power distribution, generation, and industrial/manufacturing construction.
  • Utilize SKM/ETAP or other electrical system modelling software for technical analysis.
  • Develop Balance of Plant process electrical designs integrating with chilled water, compressed air, and steam/hot water systems.
  • Coordinate with internal MEP/FP teams, architects, owners, and contractors to meet project objectives.
  • Support business development by identifying prospective markets and soliciting new work.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • 7+ years of work experience with complex building electrical systems in the industrial and power/process sector.
  • Proficiency with Revit.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Nashville or Knoxville, TN.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 10%).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for team-based project environments.

Nice to have

  • Registered Professional Engineering (PE) license.
