What you will do

• Lead a new team building AI agents to eliminate repetitive engineering workflows and reduce toil.
• Define and own the agent roadmap, prioritization, and success metrics.
• Contribute hands-on to prototyping, coding, and solving technical challenges.
• Establish evaluation frameworks for agent performance, including LLM-as-judge and golden tasks.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and DevX teams to integrate agents into core workflows.
• Drive high engineering standards through design documents and RFCs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in engineering management.
• Proven experience shipping production systems featuring agentic or automation-heavy workflows.
• Strong hands-on coding proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience building systems that interact with APIs, tools, and external services.
• Ability to define metrics and rigorously evaluate system performance.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer tooling or internal platforms.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks or orchestration systems.
• Experience working in monorepo environments.
• Startup or early-stage (0→1) team scaling experience.
