TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY. Must be a US Citizen.

Salary: $130,000–$165,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Lead and manage product engineering staff across multiple concurrent development programs.
  • Supervise hiring, training, and performance reviews to grow highly skilled technical personnel.
  • Manage resources according to EVMS schedules and identify budgetary control opportunities.
  • Develop engineering process standards, templates, and automation to increase efficiency and consistency.
  • Monitor first-pass yield and non-conformance performance to reduce defects in build and test phases.
  • Coordinate with supply chain for product transitions and manage electronic obsolescence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 7+ years of professional Electrical Engineering work experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to federal contract obligations.
  • Technical competence in hardware design, development, and testing applications.

Nice to have

  • Prior managerial experience supervising a team of engineers.
  • Familiarity with design life cycle, qualification, and certification of electronics for aircraft.
  • Experience within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with customers and vendors.
