What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams through the development process to deliver state-of-the-art test systems on time and within budget.
• Create and validate specialized test equipment, from conceptual trade studies to detailed designs.
• Collaborate with drafters, technicians, analysts, and program managers to implement designs.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and technical proposals.
• Coordinate procurement, assembly, and system integration with a focus on quality and innovation.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Buffalo, NY
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or an MS Degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in designing and developing complex electromechanical hardware and verification testing.
• Track record of project leadership or strong desire to take on technical lead roles.
• Must have authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information
