Manufacturing Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Maintain and update manufacturing technical documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Provide technical direction to internal teams and oversee external vendors to meet quality and production requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve equipment efficiency and resolve downtime events.
• Provide daily technical support for manufacturing operations and maintenance activities.
• Identify and resolve safety and ergonomics issues on the floor.
• Develop technical training manuals and deliver training for team members and maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an engineering support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated ability to apply structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work 2nd shift, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship (H-1B, TN, STEM OPT, etc.) now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CNC machining (ID/OD grinding, drilling, milling, turning).
• Knowledge of high-volume fabrication manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD software and statistical analysis.
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
