What you will do

• Install, commission, and validate metal fabrication equipment including CNC punching, press brakes, and welding.
• Coordinate with vendors for setup, FAT/SAT, and production ramp-up.
• Optimize manufacturing methods and cell layouts to improve material flow and facility readiness.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles and OEE systems to enhance safety, ergonomics, and machine efficiency.
• Lead automation initiatives using robotic manufacturing and inspection.
• Develop standard work, SOPs, and training materials for operators and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CNC machines, metal forming, and fabrication processes.
• Experience with 3D CAD/CAM software, preferably Solidworks.
• Strong competency in GD&T.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Jacksonville, FL.

Nice to have

• Experience with equipment commissioning or production ramp-up.
• Familiarity with Lean tools like OEE and SPC.
• Experience with CNC OEMs such as Amada.
• Knowledge of machinery design and autonomous project management.
