Process Technician (Automotive)

TL;DR

Process Technician (Automotive Assembly): Responsible for the fitment and installation of automotive components using assembly tools and error-proofing equipment with an accent on mechanical aptitude, sequencing, and safety. Focus on diagnosing and troubleshooting issues during vehicle builds and interpreting automotive process documents.

Location: Onsite in Concord, North Carolina. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee or refugee) due to export control restrictions. No immigration sponsorship provided.

What you will do

• Perform daily fitment and installation of automotive components using assembly tools and processes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues encountered during vehicle builds.
• Interpret and apply general automotive process documents and drawings.
• Execute tasks independently to achieve production deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Provide suggestions and guidance to teammates to optimize assembly workflows.

Requirements

• High school diploma with relevant work experience, technical training, or professional certifications.
• 5 years of automotive experience in vehicle or component assembly.
• Ability to work 1st shift (four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday).
• U.S. Person status required for export control authorization.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Experience with vehicle armoring.
• Military background.
• Experience with machine shop fabrication equipment or one-off prototype vehicle builds.
