What you will do

• Monitor and control critical operating parameters to ensure product quality and minimize defects, spoilage, and downtime.
• Plan and execute continuous improvement (CI) initiatives using DOE, SPC, and 6-Sigma methods to increase yield and OEE.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, job jackets, and capacity reports.
• Collaborate with Product Development to commercialize new products and ensure a stable ramp-up in production.
• Identify, specify, and commission new or refurbished assets, managing projects ranging from £5k to £1M.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to process operators on the factory floor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) or an equivalent technical qualification (HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3).
• 1–3+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering, ideally within printing, coating, or flexographic environments.
• Proficiency with DOE, SPC, 6 Sigma, and data analysis/presentation tools.
• Ability to work with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Multi-skilled mindset across mechanical, electrical, and software controls with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Must be based in or have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
