Production Technician (Engineering)

What you will do

• Operate complex machinery for the manufacturing and joining of plastic and rubber handrails and other parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and disassemble/reassemble dies and extruders for style changes.
• Set up and operate material preparation machines to slit, cut, extrude, and pre-assemble rubberized materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by labelling and accounting for material discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace to ensure processes run efficiently and products remain defect-free.
• Package all finished parts according to approved packaging methods and standards.

Requirements

• Experience or ability to operate complex manufacturing machinery and hand tools.
• Capability to perform technical tasks across multiple production levels (Material preparation, Rubber Handrail and NT production).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Oshawa, ON, Canada.
