What you will do
- Assemble, inspect, and test connectors, PCB assemblies, wiring harnesses, and sonar heads.
- Perform high-quality manual soldering and wire crimping on small form-factor assemblies.
- Apply chemical potting compounds using standard fume hoods and safety protocols.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production cycle to ensure zero defects.
- Collaborate with Planning, Materials, Engineering, and Quality teams to streamline production.
- Participate in Kaizen initiatives and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) or Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or electronics manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on experience with manual soldering, wire crimping, and general power tools.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Physical dexterity to perform repetitive assembly tasks and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation to the facility in Port Coquitlam.
- Ability to work pre-scheduled shifts between 6am-10pm as demand increases.

- Understanding of manufacturing ERP workflows and workorders.
- Technical certificate, diploma, or coursework in electronics, robotics, or related engineering.
