What you will do

• Identify and document high-leverage workflow transformations within the Design organization's day-to-day processes.
• Partner with designers and engineers to build AI-powered tools, agents, and automations that accelerate velocity.
• Coach and enable designers to build and iterate on their own AI tools to create independence.
• Systematically scale successful tools and patterns across the global Design team to ensure reusability.
• Prepare the design organization for an agentic future by designing and overseeing autonomous multi-agent workflows.
• Source and evaluate vendors, interfacing with legal, security, and procurement for onboarding and budget negotiation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in design thinking, product design, UX, design engineering, or program management.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered tools, agents, or automations that transformed real work processes.
• Proven track record of coaching or enabling others to fundamentally change how they work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and professional relationships simultaneously.
• Must be located in or able to work from South San Francisco, Atlanta, New York, Seattle, or Chicago.

Nice to have

• Experience with Figma plugins, design system management, and plugin APIs.
• Proficiency with AI platforms such as Claude, Claude Code, Codex, and custom agent frameworks.
• Experience in change management or large-scale organizational transformation programs.
• Track record of building internal tools and playbooks adopted beyond the immediate team.
