TL;DR

Head of Engagement Management (DaaS, AI): Lead and scale the Engagement Management team for Data-as-a-Service business, owning customer outcomes, consumption, and revenue realization across AI labs and enterprises with an accent on strategy alignment, NRR, and expansion. Focus on building playbooks for pilot-to-production handoffs, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Delivery, and driving scalable growth in high-value accounts.

Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid); Redwood City, CA (Hybrid); San Francisco, CA (Hybrid); United States (Remote)

Salary Range: $212,000 - $300,000 USD

What you will do

  • Build, lead, and develop the Engagement Management team through hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • Define and execute strategy aligning team priorities to business goals like consumption, NRR, and expansion
  • Own customer consumption, adoption, and revenue realization across DaaS accounts
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Delivery to drive expansion and improve retention
  • Establish operating cadences, metrics, and reporting for account health and performance
  • Oversee engagements, act as escalation point, and build deep executive relationships

Requirements

  • 8+ years in customer success, account management, or consulting in technical/data-driven environments
  • 3+ years leading and scaling customer-facing teams
  • Proven track record driving adoption, consumption, and expansion at scale
  • Experience with consumption/usage-based models and NRR metrics
  • Strong leadership, process-building, and executive communication skills
  • Technical aptitude in data, AI/ML domains
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

  • Background in AI/ML, data infrastructure, or data services
  • Experience in high-growth environments building functions from scratch
