TL;DR

Territory Manager (Building Materials): Growing and maintaining relationships with distributors, dealers, and construction professionals for the Fiberon brand with an accent on market share expansion and local distribution optimization. Focus on acquiring key contractor accounts, delivering product presentations, and executing annual business plans to achieve sales goals.

Location: Must reside in Charleston, SC (field-based role with regular travel)

Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 USD

What you will do

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, margin, and expense goals.
  • Increase market share and builder adoption by optimizing local distribution strategies.
  • Identify, acquire, and retain key dealer and contractor accounts to build long-term brand loyalty.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with strategic priorities in collaboration with Regional Sales Managers.
  • Conduct Joint Business Planning (JBP) meetings and deliver informative product presentations.
  • Use CRM tools to track pipeline activity, territory coverage, and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of outside sales experience in the building materials industry.
  • Experience with pull-through selling and influencing product selection at the contractor and builder level.
  • Must reside within the Charleston, SC core geography.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Previous CRM experience and/or professional sales training.
