What you will do

• Define and drive a multi-year contract manufacturing (CM) strategy, including partner selection and risk mitigation.
• Manage high-level executive relationships with CM partners to secure capacity and favorable commercial terms.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations regarding MVA structures, NRE, tooling investment, and pricing.
• Translate product roadmaps and demand uncertainty into actionable CM capacity plans.
• Lead and scale the EMS sourcing function, developing internal talent and organizational structure.
• Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic developments to create contingency plans for the supply chain.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in EMS, contract manufacturing sourcing, or supply chain strategy.
• Deep expertise in the global EMS industry and geographic manufacturing landscapes.
• Proven track record of executive-level relationship management and high-stakes negotiations.
• Background in high-volume consumer electronics, specifically wearables or mobile devices.
• Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
• Must be based in the San Francisco area for hybrid office attendance.
