TL;DR

Global Supply Manager (Silicon / OSAT): Managing the semiconductor and OSAT supply chain for AR glasses with an accent on commercial relationships and commodity strategy. Focus on establishing a robust end-to-end semiconductor supply chain, driving design-to-cost optimization, and scaling to volume production.

Location: Palo Alto, must work in office 4+ days per week

Salary: $142,000–$214,000 (Zone A)

Technology company specializing in visual communication and augmented reality hardware, specifically the Spectacles AR glasses.

What you will do

  • Manage commercial relationships and influence commodity strategy for silicon and OSAT.
  • Expand relationships with IP providers, foundries, and packaging/testing vendors.
  • Drive supplier selection, cost negotiations, and risk mitigation to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Establish a scalable supply chain to support transition to volume production.
  • Implement design-to-cost philosophies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with legal teams to implement necessary service and material contracts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or commodity management associated with Semiconductor Foundry, Advanced Packaging, or OSATs.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (preferred) or Supply Chain.
  • Ability to travel 20-25% internationally to partners in Asia, Europe, and the US.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in multicultural and multilingual environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with process integration and foundry management.
  • Experience with batteries, PCB, and Flexible PCB.
