TL;DR

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Own outbound and inbound shipping execution, including routing, carrier selection, and freight forwarding domestically and internationally
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, FMS, and export regulations, managing classifications, documentation, and customs brokers
• Build scalable shipping workflows, systems, packaging processes, and operating procedures for the team
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve shipment issues, and act as escalation point for logistics failures
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program teams on material flow, delivery commitments, and status visibility

Requirements

• 10+ years in logistics, shipping, or global trade operations
• Experience with international shipping, freight forwarding, and managing customs documentation/brokers
• Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and export compliance requirements
• Experience building or scaling logistics operations

Nice to have

• Experience with defense, aerospace, or regulated hardware shipments
• Familiarity with FMS and USG shipment requirements
• Experience implementing logistics systems (ERP/WMS/TMS integration)
• Licensed Export Compliance Officer or similar certification
• Experience managing 3PLs or freight forwarders at scale
