What You'll Do
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships for assigned commodities, driving pricing strategy, negotiations, and locked-in commercial terms.
- Establish forecasting cadence, align on lead times, MOQs, allocation, and upside planning with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Build Approved Vendor List (AVL), execute dual-sourcing qualification, and implement risk mitigation plans for supply, capacity, geopolitical, and quality issues.
- Shape commodity strategy for core technologies like SoC, camera, and memory; collaborate with engineering on assessments and roadmaps.
- Secure priority allocation during shortages, manage supply ramps, and track supplier KPIs for continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business (Master's preferred).
- 7–10+ years sourcing/supplier management in consumer electronics/hardware; IC/memory/SoC experience essential.
- Proven commercial negotiation, cost analysis, and multi-sourcing track record.
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineering/operations in fast-paced settings.
