What you will do
- Own full-cycle bi-weekly payroll operations including data validation, processing, reconciliation, and submission.
- Process all compensation types like regular pay, bonuses, commissions, and terminations while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Oversee payroll tax governance, filings, reconciliations, and resolution of notices across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead year-end processes, W-2 reviews, annual filings, and tax documentation.
- Serve as payroll SME for HR, Finance, Accounting, employees, and vendors, resolving complex issues independently.
- Monitor time and attendance, conduct audits, prepare reports, maintain audit controls, and drive process improvements.
Requirements
- 7+ years progressive payroll experience with full-cycle processing in multi-state, regulated environments
- Extensive multi-state, multi-entity payroll experience
- Advanced knowledge of U.S. payroll tax and compliance regulations across jurisdictions
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Time & Attendance
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, deadline management, and communication for cross-functional collaboration
