What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering groups to identify and resolve design issues early in the new product development cycle.
• Enable timely transfer of new products from concept to volume manufacturing.
• Build electro-mechanical assemblies to develop process flow and identify assembly risks.
• Create detailed assembly process documentation for pilot production teams and contract manufacturers.
• Design and qualify assembly tools and fixtures used in product assembly.
• Work with suppliers to design and validate packaging solutions for new products.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of related work experience in a manufacturing engineering position.
• Proficiency in designing and documenting parts and assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Experience developing mechanical tools and fixtures for electro-mechanical products.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in the Deer Park, IL facility.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (0-10%).
