Production Manager (Aerospace): Leading hourly foundry operators in the full investment casting process from pattern production to post-processing with an accent on safety, quality, and delivery. Location: Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for U.S. Government export authorizations (ITAR compliance).

Salary: $135,000–$160,000

What you will do

  • Lead foundry operations across multiple shifts, taking full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and yield.
  • Recruit and build a world-class team of Operations Technicians and establish the organizational structure.
  • Set the shift cadence and operational standards to meet cost and delivery metrics.
  • Develop and own onboarding and training programs to foster a culture of operational excellence.
  • Manage operational improvement initiatives to eliminate hazards, reduce lead times, and drive down costs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align priorities and relentlessly reduce labor hours.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or test engineering in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industries.
  • 2+ years of experience directly managing non-exempt manufacturing personnel.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (Green Card) required for ITAR compliance.
  • Proven track record of inspiring operators and driving complex initiatives to completion on budget and schedule.
  • Functional understanding of production tracking, scheduling, and manufacturing systems.
  • Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Direct experience with investment casting processes (shell building, burnout, pouring, and finishing).
  • Demonstrated ability to scale production throughput in high-volume manufacturing settings.
  • Familiarity with aerospace or defense manufacturing quality systems.
