Senior Business Analyst (Finance)

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements across GL, AP, AR, FP&A, and Tax functions.
• Create detailed process maps, user stories, functional requirements, and perform gap analysis for the NetSuite implementation.
• Support end-to-end process redesign to align with system best practices and a robust control environment.
• Coordinate workshops, testing cycles, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Finance users.
• Assist with data cleansing, validation, and mapping activities during the migration process.
• Develop training materials and provide hands-on support to users during go-live and stabilization phases.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst supporting NetSuite implementations or other ERP projects.
• Deep understanding of Finance processes, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and financial close.
• Excellent documentation skills for creating process maps and test scripts.
• Proven ability to translate complex finance needs into clear functional requirements.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Finance and IT teams.
• Must be available for a full-time contract dedicated exclusively to the project in Canada.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with specific NetSuite functional modules.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Experience in change management or training support.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
