What you will do

• Engage directly with accounting stakeholders including CFOs to elicit and validate insurance and operating accounting requirements.
• Translate complex business and accounting needs into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Support implementations and enhancements for ConceptOne, Sure MGA, and related insurance accounting, billing, and financial platforms.
• Partner with technical teams across the full SDLC: design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Analyze current-state workflows and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational excellence.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, training, and stakeholder discussions; contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within accounting, insurance, or financial services
• Strong understanding of accounting principles; insurance accounting experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with financial systems, insurance platforms, policy administration, or billing/payment systems
• Proven track record of gathering, documenting, and communicating complex business and system requirements
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Smartsheet, or similar tools; excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
