Senior Program Manager (WAN)

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end WAN program delivery, including backbone expansion and new region bring-up.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across network engineering, infrastructure, SRE, and procurement.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, tracking dependencies and identifying risks.
• Manage relationships with carriers, IXPs, and hardware providers for timely provisioning.
• Ensure WAN deployments meet performance, reliability, and scalability standards before production.
• Implement processes and reporting tools to improve execution predictability and visibility.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in program or project management within networking or infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale WAN, telecom, or data center programs.
• Solid understanding of WAN concepts such as BGP, routing, capacity planning, fiber, and peering.
• Strong experience in vendor management with carriers and ISPs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale or cloud infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML or HPC infrastructure requirements.
• Experience with network deployment at global scale.
• PMP or PgMP certifications.
