TL;DR

Mid-Market Account Executive (AI): Identifying and acquiring new enterprise customers for an AI observability platform with an accent on AI/ML stakeholder engagement and strategic prospecting. Focus on managing complex sales cycles, driving adoption through proof of concepts, and scaling revenue within the mid-market segment.

Location: Remote-first, with options for in-person work in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City

Salary: $160,000 - $225,000

What you will do

  • Build relationships with AI/ML stakeholders and actively engage with the community.
  • Develop and execute sophisticated prospecting strategies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage full-cycle enterprise sales, from discovery and vision sharing to closing.
  • Oversee proof of concepts (POCs) to drive product adoption and grow accounts.
  • Conduct deep research on accounts, stakeholders, and competitors to create effective sales plays.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product value with specific customer use cases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SaaS sales experience.
  • Proven track record in full-cycle sales and navigating the complexities of enterprise deals.
  • Ability to operate as a self-starter in environments with limited established processes.
  • Strong communication skills for objective reporting and field observations.
  • Must be based in the US (Bay Area preference).

Nice to have

  • Previous experience selling software engineering tools.
  • Experience in the Data Science or Machine Learning domains.
  • Familiarity with BANT or MEDDIC methodologies.
