What you will do
- Build consensus and relationships at executive, influencer, and decision-maker levels.
- Develop customer-specific business cases and tailor value propositions to account needs.
- Collaborate with Customer Delivery, Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams for successful delivery and product enhancements.
- Create account plans, track KPIs, drive revenue expansion, and generate sales assets like case studies.
- Identify at-risk customers, provide retention support, and manage full sales cycle including renewals and negotiations.
- Achieve $1M+ quota in named account territory.
Requirements
- 5+ years proven success in technology-related B2B sales or business development
- 2+ years account management or solution selling
- Ability to learn technical concepts bridging materials science, chemistry, AI, and business value
- Excellent C-level communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Consultative selling approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High business acumen and willingness to travel 25-50%
- Demonstrated senior sales leadership through coaching and mentoring
Nice to have
- Experience in early-stage startup or selling technical products
- Familiarity with large enterprise sales and chemistry/materials science
- Interest in AI and its societal impact
