TL;DR
Director, Workday Compensation and Performance (HRIS): Product management of Workday Compensation, Talent, and Advanced Compensation modules with an accent on implementation, optimization, and strategic roadmap development. Focus on configuring business processes, ensuring data integrity, and driving HR process automation and enhancements.
Location: United States, District of Columbia, Washington. Ability to travel to FTI office(s) as needed. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no work visa sponsorship.
Salary: $140,000–$237,500

What you will do
- Support Workday Compensation, Job Architecture, Talent, and Advanced Compensation implementation by coordinating activities and tracking milestones.
- Act as SME for modules, partnering with HR, HRIS, Finance, Payroll, and local teams on best practices and optimization.
- Configure and maintain business processes, compensation plans, merit cycles, bonus planning, and eligibility rules.
- Support cyclical processes like merit reviews, bonus planning, performance reviews, and goal setting.
- Identify enhancements, audit data, troubleshoot issues, and manage data loads using EIBs.
- Develop strategic roadmap, test updates, drive automation, and resolve end-user issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or similar
- 12+ years in Workday Compensation and HR Systems / HR Operations
- Authorized to work full-time in the US; no visa sponsorship
- Strong background in compensation strategy, pay equity, market positioning, and performance management
- Project and change management skills for cross-functional alignment
- Analytical skills for data integrity, audits, and compliance
Nice to have
- Prior managerial experience and 1+ years people management
- Deep Workday knowledge in Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Job Architecture
- Advanced degree or certifications (CCP, GRP, CECP)
- Experience in global consulting, HR optimization, and matrix organizations
