TL;DR

Senior Benefits Manager: Own the strategy, design, and administration of benefits programs across North America, Europe, and APAC with an accent on compliance, competitiveness, and scalability. Location: Hybrid prioritizing Livingston, NJ / New York, NY offices; remote may be considered for candidates more than 30 miles from office. Must be U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to export controls. New hires attend onboarding at hubs; quarterly team gatherings.

Salary: $115,000–$168,000 base + discretionary bonus, equity, comprehensive benefits (eligibility-based).

What you will do

  • Own strategy, design, and administration of global benefits programs, partnering with Legal, Finance, and People Operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations across countries while maintaining competitive offerings.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts with brokers, carriers, and TPAs.
  • Lead open enrollment cycles, including communications, system setup, and employee education.
  • Conduct global benefits benchmarking and model costs for data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Advise on benefits strategy for new market expansions in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years progressive benefits experience, including 4+ years managing global programs.
  • Deep U.S. benefits expertise (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA).
  • Experience with international markets (UK, EU, APAC): statutory entitlements, compliance, vendors.
  • Track record in benefits design, benchmarking in high-growth/tech settings.
  • Proficiency negotiating contracts; HRIS (Workday preferred), benefits systems.
  • Strong analytics for cost modeling, ROI, leadership presentations.
  • U.S. person status required for export-controlled information.
