Salary: $88,000 - $108,000

What you will do

  • Independently manage employee relations, including investigations, corrective actions, and involuntary separations.
  • Coach and influence managers on performance management, feedback, and policy application.
  • Execute onboarding and offboarding processes and manage employee lifecycle changes with high accuracy.
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal and California employment laws and company policies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Legal to optimize HR operations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends in employee relations and turnover to provide actionable insights.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong experience in employee relations and independently managing workplace investigations.
  • Solid knowledge of California employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS tools such as Workday or Oracle.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Location: Must be based in and work onsite in Irvine, CA.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
  • Experience leading HR projects or process improvement initiatives.
