Accounting Associate (Finance)

Location: On-site in Toronto (Etobicoke / Airport area), Canada

Salary: CA$50K - CA$65K

What you will do

• Support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple divisions.
• Manage GL accounting, perform reconciliations, and process journal entries.
• Handle high-volume transactions including AP/AR, invoicing, and payments.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and structure within the finance team's operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional general accounting experience (AP/AR) in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals.
• Experience supporting the month-end close process.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor Prophet 21 preferred).
• Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week in Toronto.

Nice to have

• Experience with inventory accounting.
