What you will do

• Gather data and complete calculations for Canada federal tax forms, maintain tax calendar, and handle notices and audits.
• Develop knowledge of OneSource tax software and coordinate with service providers for tax forms.
• Assist with tax planning for internal reorganizations, intercompany financing, and distributions.
• Research and document tax positions, prepare memoranda, and enhance tax workplans and processes.
• Utilize tools like Alteryx and Orbitax for data preparation and analysis efficiencies.
• Monitor tax law developments and ensure compliance with internal controls under Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related
• CPA certification preferred
• 1+ years tax experience (including internships), 3 years preferred
• Knowledge of accounting principles and pertinent tax laws
• Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, and office/computer skills (Word, Excel)
• Ability to research information, assemble data, prepare reports, and maintain relationships
