What you will do
- Set up contracts in the Intacct module to ensure accurate invoicing, sales taxes, and revenue recognition.
- Create and maintain revenue recognition and deferred revenue schedules for SaaS and non-recurring revenue contracts.
- Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly MRR analysis and other critical SaaS metrics.
- Collaborate with Rev Ops, PSM, and Treasury teams to manage renewals and the collection process.
- Coordinate with external auditors to provide requested documentation and respond to inquiries.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in revenue recognition within a software or technology environment (specifically SaaS or recurring maintenance).
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability security clearance.
