TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Clinical Trials): Driving sales and marketing strategies for a broad portfolio of clinical research services with an accent on pipeline growth and client engagement. Focus on identifying new business opportunities, managing the commercial pipeline via CRM, and partnering with internal teams to develop client solutions.

Location: Must reside in a U.S. state where the company is authorized to hire. Not eligible for residents of California, Colorado, New York, Washington, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, Hawaii, and District of Columbia.

What you will do

  • Drive growth of the commercial pipeline by identifying and engaging potential clients through CRM tools, networking, cold calling, and digital marketing.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for services including Access Programs, Clinical Trials, 3PL, and Pharmacovigilance.
  • Conduct outside sales activities and represent the company at professional conferences and trade shows.
  • Evaluate market conditions and competitor activities to drive revenue growth and improve margins.
  • Record and report deal progression and sales activity via the internal CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design client solutions and support pricing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, Marketing, or Finance).
  • 3-7 years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence and ability to execute cold outreach to new opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
