What you will do

• Generate leads and close sales through client and prospect relationship development.
• Maintain and expand relationships with major accounts, securing additional business and referrals.
• Conduct market research, develop proposals, and obtain master service agreements.
• Participate in conferences, trade shows, and marketing activities to follow up on leads.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and explore new trends or programs to increase sales.
• Maintain contact database and track new accounts and leads.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in relevant field (Business, marketing, life science); advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred
• Over five years of business development experience in sales/marketing
• Business development experience with pharmaceutical, medical device companies, and CDMO
• Technical and industry knowledge
• Client-focused mentality with excellent follow-up
• Up to 40% travel regionally within California
