TL;DR
Associate Director, Digital Marketing Analytics (Marketing Analytics): Driving strategic client partnerships by transforming complex digital marketing data into actionable business insights with an accent on data quality stewardship and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Hybrid. Must be based in the US, ideally near San Diego or Los Angeles, CA; candidates in Irvine, CA, Cincinnati, OH, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, or Bentonville, AR are also considered.
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 a year

What you will do
- Act as the senior data voice for a major West Coast account, translating complex analytical findings into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
- Take ownership of data quality across multiple sources, diagnosing tag-level issues and fixing inconsistencies at the source.
- Track and interpret KPI trends across website, mobile apps, email, digital media, ecommerce, and CRM.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio, PowerBI, or Tableau, developing bespoke analytical approaches when necessary.
- Partner with strategy, UX, creative, and technology teams to ensure analytics inform the broader engagement.
- Coach junior analysts and serve as a senior resource for the Chief Data Officer on account strategy.
Requirements
- 7+ years in a data or analytics role, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Strong expertise with GA4 and moderate expertise with Google Tag Manager.
- Proficiency with at least one BI tool (Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience presenting to and influencing senior client stakeholders.
- Proven track record of working with messy or incomplete data and improving quality at the source.
- Must be authorized to work in the US and complete I-9/E-Verify requirements.
Nice to have
- Prior agency or consulting experience.
- Experience within automotive or retail industries.
- Data engineering capabilities and exposure to ETL tools (Supermetrics, Fivetran, Tapclicks).
- Experience with Digital Experience Analytics (ContentSquare, Quantum Metric) or CDP platforms.
- Exposure to AI/ML and generative AI tools applied to analytics workflows.
