What you will do

  • Prospect, pitch, and close new businesses in the assigned territory to grow the merchant network.
  • Conduct daily merchant visits and attend local events to nurture community relationships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle using a mix of in-person, phone, email, and virtual touchpoints.
  • Achieve monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
  • Identify untapped local market opportunities aligned with customer demand.
  • Track activity and performance metrics within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience and strong inside sales skills.
  • Expertise in full-cycle sales methodology with a focus on conversion optimization.
  • Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be based in Portland, OR for regular in-person engagements.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
