What you will do
- Prospect, pitch, and close new businesses in the assigned territory to grow the merchant network.
- Conduct daily merchant visits and attend local events to nurture community relationships.
- Manage the full sales cycle using a mix of in-person, phone, email, and virtual touchpoints.
- Achieve monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
- Identify untapped local market opportunities aligned with customer demand.
- Track activity and performance metrics within Salesforce.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience and strong inside sales skills.
- Expertise in full-cycle sales methodology with a focus on conversion optimization.
- Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
- Must be based in Portland, OR for regular in-person engagements.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
