What you will do

• Lead and execute all phases of internal audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Perform risk assessments across operational, financial, and compliance areas following IIA standards.
• Draft high-quality audit reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations.
• Execute ad-hoc special projects and investigations for senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Monitor emerging risks and regulatory changes impacting the internal audit profession.

Requirements

• Must be based in Toronto, Canada
• 3-5+ years of experience in internal/external audit or risk management, with at least 2 years in internal audit.
• Strong practical knowledge of COSO framework and IIA internal audit standards.
• Professional designations such as CIA or CISA (highly preferred).
• English: C1+ proficiency required
• Experience with MS Office suite and audit management software.

Nice to have

• Experience with AuditBoard, NetSuite, or Salesforce.
• Background in a high-growth, publicly traded technology company.
• Fluency in French.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools like ACL, IDEA, or Alteryx.
• CPA or CFE certifications.
