What you will do

• Build and evolve HIL test automation infrastructure to provide rapid feedback on firmware and system behavior.
• Develop validation frameworks, test harnesses, and environments for embedded and distributed systems.
• Create and maintain CI/CD build and automation pipelines for firmware packaging, testing, and deployment.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage scalable development and validation environments.
• Implement monitoring and logging to track validation system health, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate on product requirements and designs to identify issues early in the development cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or system validation for embedded or distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python (PyTest) with solid object-oriented design principles.
• Experience designing automation frameworks for system-level validation.
• Proficiency with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and device simulation.
• Knowledge of build tools like CMake and Conan.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with networking and wireless protocols (TCP/IP, WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE).
