TL;DR

Strategic Account Manager (Automotive Electronics): Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the automotive electronics market with an accent on adhesive solutions for control units, IVI, and ADAS. Focus on leading global growth strategies, managing OEM and Tier-1 supplier relationships, and translating customer needs into technical opportunities.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Germany, Portugal, or France)

What you will do

  • Drive and deliver commercial goals for the automotive electronics segment.
  • Develop short- and long-term account plans to defend and grow existing business.
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into specific business opportunities.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer for internal R&D, Engineering, and Product Management stakeholders.
  • Balance efforts between growing existing accounts (20%) and acquiring new customers (50%).

Requirements

  • Expertise in automotive electronics applications such as control units, IVI, and ADAS.
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive standards (ISO, IATF) and reliability testing.
  • Must be based in Germany, Portugal, or France.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a global, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • STEM Degree.
  • Hands-on experience with adhesive technologies (conformal coatings, thermal management, potting, structural bonding).
  • Knowledge of European chemical regulations and basic legal requirements.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
