What you will do

• Lead communication designs and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Create conceptual and detailed systems designs, including drawings, specifications, and design analysis deliverables.
• Coordinate with BIM/CAD teams for production of design drawings.
• Perform quality control duties and conduct independent technical reviews.
• Manage assigned budgets, project scopes, and schedules.
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff members.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required.
• 4+ years of experience designing applicable telecommunication systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, and BICSI industry standards and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, inside plant (ISP), and outside plant (OSP) copper and fiber optic systems.

Nice to have

• Certified Technology Specialist-Design (CTS-D) certification.
• Experience in audio-visual (AV) system design.
