TL;DR
Client Partner (Advertising Sales): Launching and growing the advertising business in the Canadian market with an accent on new business development and agency relationships. Focus on building a sales pipeline from zero, creating tailored campaign proposals, and localizing the product offering for Canadian brands.
Location: Hybrid (Toronto, Canada)
Salary: CAD $190,000 β $230,000 OTE

What you will do
- Develop and execute a Canada-specific sales strategy aligned with the broader ads business.
- Prospect and close net-new business with brands and agencies across key Canadian verticals.
- Build senior-level relationships with decision-makers across advertisers and agency partners.
- Create compelling, multi-funnel campaign proposals tailored to advertiser objectives.
- Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver accurate forecasting in a new market environment.
- Partner cross-functionally with U.S. teams to ensure campaign success and provide feedback for product localization.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in advertising sales with a strong track record of new business development.
- Deep understanding of the Canadian advertising and agency landscape.
- Experience with Salesforce and prospecting tools like LinkedIn or Pathmatics.
- Strong understanding of platform-based media buying and full-funnel marketing campaigns.
- Experience working in startup or high-growth environments and comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Must be based in Toronto, Canada (Hybrid work model)
