What you will do

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software within an interdisciplinary team.
• Develop assembly and integration test plans and procedures based on engineering concepts and designs.
• Execute test plans using thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, and oscilloscopes.
• Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.
• Solve complex electrical, software, and mechanical problems within an integrated system.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree.
• Must have graduated within the last 6 months or be currently enrolled in a post-graduate program.
• Passion for hands-on hardware design and development in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA and work onsite 5 days a week.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing complex electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Python for interfacing with test equipment, processing large datasets, and data visualization.
• Direct electrical or software design experience.
• Demonstrated ability to debug hardware and software problems under time pressure.
