RF-Microwave Engineer (Defense)

RF-Microwave Engineer (Defense): Support manufacturing of complex multi-function modules for high reliability defense applications with an accent on analysis and troubleshooting of RF circuits including amplifiers, mixers, switches, and frequency conversion. Focus on resolving assembly and test issues and providing technical support to manufacturing operations.

Location: Onsite in Chelmsford, MA. US Citizenship and Active or Interim Secret Clearance required to start.

W2 hourly rates: $64.20 to $79.70 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze and troubleshoot RF/microwave circuits for advanced electronic modules.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing to resolve assembly and test issues.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and circuit design engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel.
• Review and interpret technical documentation including specifications, schematics, and test data.
• Test, tune, and troubleshoot microwave circuits using RF/microwave test equipment.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and Active or Interim Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in RF / Microwave Engineering
• 1+ years of related experience in RF/Microwave Engineering
• 1+ years of experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting microwave circuits
• Knowledge of RF/microwave test equipment: network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, phase noise analyzers
• Expertise reviewing technical documentation: specifications, schematic diagrams, test data

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace/defense industry
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Academic achievement in RF field
• Familiarity with RF/microwave circuit simulation or 3D electromagnetic tools
• Familiarity troubleshooting designs and integration issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in team environment
